Engagement Photographer in San Francisco's Lower Haight | Jake & Jay

Jake and Jay have a few special places in San Francisco's Lower Haight, so it was obvious that we needed to hold their engagement photography session there.  We began at Miette, a charming bakery and confectionary just off of Hayes St., was one of Jake's regular stops when she lived in the neighborhood.   We continued our session at Hotel Biron, where Jake and Jay first met while Jay was studying for his sommelier exam.  To wrap things up, the two got a little competitive over the remaining champagne and a game of croquet at Alamo Square Park. I love it when the locations couples pick for their engagement photographs are so personal.  It insures that the images are about them, not just of them, and that they are preserving valuable memories.

Jake & Jay, thank you so much for including me in an amazing afternoon.  I can't wait for your wedding! I have to recognize Jesus at Miette and Chris at Hotel Biron for their incredible hospitality and generosity by letting us take photographs inside their establishments during business hours.  Miette's cupcakes are in a class all alone, and Hotel Biron is a must-try for anyone who enjoys great wines.  Everyone was eager to participate in something very personal for Jake and Jay, and they couldn't have been more gracious. If you enjoyed this San Francisco Lower Haight engagement session, be sure to check out these engagement photographs in the Mission District!
