When Shion first contacted me, she wasn't entirely sure what her wedding day would look like. We brainstormed and came up with many, many ideas, but when the idea of a snow wedding came up, we both knew instantly that it was something special. The trouble with weddings in the Sierra Mountains, especially a snow wedding, is that no one can predict the weather. In fact, a week out from the wedding date, the weather report predicted rain for Shion and Paul's big day. However, true to Sierra Mountain form, the storm billowed through the area a day early, dropping two inches of snow. The wedding day was clear, with a beautiful blanket of white on the ground. It was perfection.Shion and Paul, it was an incredible joy getting to know you both. I know you'll treasure these images. All my love to you both.

Isn't this wedding gorgeous? You'll definitely want to see Paul and Shion's "day-after" photograph session in the snow, too!If you want to see a Sierra Mountain wedding when the weather is a bit warmer, see these Forest House Lodge wedding photographs!Venue: Forest House Lodge
