Jenna frequently asked Jeb to take her to San Francisco, so aside from the delight and surprise of being woken early at home in Dallas and told to pack a bag, she wasn’t suspecting a thing. Little did she know that he was secretly planning to propose on Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park.
I ask marriage proposal clients to fill out a pre-shoot survey so I can better understand their expectations for the session. One part of the survey warns travelers about San Francisco’s fickle weather, and asks what kind of weather would cause a change in plans. He replied, “The only weather that will change my plans is an end-of-the-world storm. I am asking her to marry me no matter what.” I couldn’t help but love a guy with an answer like that.
Jenna and Jeb, it was an absolute joy photographing you both. I hope you love these photographs, and I can’t wait to see what comes next!
If you enjoyed this marriage proposal, don’t miss Kristen & Michael’s proposal at Stow Lake, or Harika & Bhargava at the Palace of Fine Arts.
