Being able to photograph candid, unscripted moments is what I live for, which is why I love documenting marriage proposals. Sumesh contacted me a week ago to tell me about his plan: late afternoon, San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts, his beautiful girlfriend, and a ring. I jumped at the chance.
The proposal was perfect. Supriya gasped, cried, laughed, cried again, and laughed again . . . . Even I had to breathe deeply to keep it together.
Congratulations to you both. I hope you treasure these images forever.
The Palace of Fine Arts is a gorgeous place to propose, and I have had the privilege of documenting several proposals here. If you want to see more, look at Harika and Bhargava’s proposal photographs, Honey and Raji’s proposal at the Palace of Fine Arts, and Margarita and Danny’s marriage proposal photography.

Oh wow, this is so special, you did such a good job considering how limited you would have been to stay hidden!
