Sierra Mountain Snow Wedding, Foresthill | Shion & Paul

When Shion first contacted me, she wasn't entirely sure what her wedding day would look like. We brainstormed and came up with many, many ideas, but when the idea of a snow wedding came up, we both knew instantly that it was something special. The trouble with weddings in the Sierra Mountains, especially a snow wedding, is that no one can predict the weather.  In fact, a week out from the wedding date, the weather report predicted rain for Shion and Paul's big day.  However, true to Sierra Mountain form, the storm billowed through the area a day early, dropping two inches of snow.  The wedding day was clear, with a beautiful blanket of white on the ground. It was perfection.Shion and Paul, it was an incredible joy getting to know you both.  I know you'll treasure these images.  All my love to you both.Isn't this wedding gorgeous? You'll definitely want to see Paul and Shion's "day-after" photograph session in the snow, too!If you want to see a Sierra Mountain wedding when the weather is a bit warmer, see these Forest House Lodge wedding photographs!Venue: Forest House Lodge
