The Philosophy of Wedding Photo-Journalism
Gavin’s style focuses on love, laughter, and the emotional connections that tie families and friends together. His work breaks the traditional mold of wedding photography by remaining as hands-off as possible, and by always striving for the bare minimum impact on how your event unfolds. With the exception of brief family formals, you won’t be posed or directed, and instead he focuses on the emotional moments that unfold naturally over the course of the day. This allows shy couples to enjoy their celebration without feeling like they’re on stage, and confident couples to relax and participate in their wedding without the constant disruptive demands of traditional wedding photography. The end result is a beautiful retelling of what actually happened. Further details about his approach appear on the My Style page.
